The First Appointment

A one hour appointment to think about your difficulties in more depth
I will guide us as to what will be helpful to talk about
There are no right or wrong answers / no trick questions
You will not be expected to discuss anything you do not wish to
My aim is to help you to feel comfortable enough to share what is important to you.
We will create a plan of what may be helpful to you
No obligation to book further appointments

Follow Up Appointments

Typically weekly or fortnightly appointments
No limit to number of appointments
Cancel appointments with no charge (see T&Cs)
Confidential and professional (see T&C’s)
Mondays 09:30 – 16:30 (video appt)
Thursdays 10:00 – 16:30 (video appt / in-person appt)
Fridays 09:30 – 15:00 (video appt)

Payment and Fees

Self funded appointments
Private medical insurance funded (WPA)
Automated billing
An initial assessment is £200 for a one hour appointment
Follow up appointments are £150 per hour

Hygge House Clinic

The Leicestershire Psychology Service operates an appointment-only service from Hygge House which has comfortable, private therapy rooms, with a reception area.

Parking

There is plenty of free on street car parking outside the building on Melton Road or on Brook Street.

Accessibility

There is wheelchair access to the building, along with an accessible toilet and ground floor therapy room if required. Please notify us if you have any specific accessibility requirements.
